PM confirms his commitment to comprehensive solution for disputes with Kurdistan RegionG

Baghdad (Forat) During his meeting with the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, the Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, confirmed his commitment for a comprehensive solution for the disputes between the Central Government and the Kurdistani Regional Government according to the constitution.

A statement by the SIIC received by Iraqi News cited “Hakim received Abadi who was accompanied by Dawa Islamic Party delegation at his office in Baghdad on last Friday night.”

“Hakim stressed that the meeting is fruitful and that his viewpoints were identical with the PM’s,” the statement added.

“Hakim also praised the victories achieved by the security forces and volunteers in cooperation with the tribes in the western provinces.” The statement added.

“Both sides reviewed the security and political files in addition to the results of Abadi’s visits to the neighboring countries,” the statement concluded. /End/
