(IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, French Minister of Defense Jean-Yves Le Drian announced France will send six fighter jets to Jordan in order to participate in the US-led air campaign against ISIS.

According to Reuters, Le Drian said that, “France intend to send six Mirage-fighter-jets to an air base in Jordan in order to participate in the US-led air strikes against the ISIS group in Iraq.”

Noteworthy, France already has 9 Dassault Rafale fighter aircrafts in its base in the UAE and seeks to send the six mirage-fighter-jets to increase the efficiency of its air strikes against ISIS targets.
