ISIS captures Israeli woman who traveled to join YPG in Kobani

(IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, Israel’s Channel Two reported that the Israeli woman who went to fight alongside Kurdish fighters in the town of Kobani has been captured by the group she went to fight.

Gill Rosenberg, the former Israeli soldier from Tel Aviv, who said she decided to leave Israel and join the Kurdish fighters in Kobani, was reportedly captured by the ISIS group, according to Israel’s Channel Two, citing ISIS-allied websites.

Noteworthy, the 31-year-old Gill had informed Israel Radio, that she travelled to join one of the training camps on the Syrian border after she had some contact with Kurdish YPG elements over the internet.
