(IraqiNews.com) Informed sources reported to IraqiNews.com that two Hezbollah elements were killed by an air raid carried out by Israeli warplanes on sites in the Syrian capital Damascus yesterday.

A senior military official in Hezbollah was among the dead.

Yesterday, Syrian Opposition sources said that the power supply was cut off from Damascus International Airport fully after hours of the Israeli warplanes raiding sites near the airport.

Assad’s regime accused Israel of launching raids on sites near Damascus Airport and Dimas sailing airport, condemning what it considered a direct support for the opposition and the extremists, while Israel did not deny or confirm the news about the raids.

Informed sources said that the raids targeted arms depots where the missiles were stored in preparation for transfer to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
