15 ISIS elements killed in ground-air offensive in Baqubah
Diyali (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, Dijla (Tigris) Operations Command announced, that 15 ISIS elements have been killed in a ground-air operation that targeted an ISIS facility in northeast of Baqubah.
The Commander of Dijla Operations Abdul-Amir al-Zaidi stated for IraqiNews, “This evening, a joint security force with air support from the Iraqi Air Froce conducted an offensive operation on ISIS facility in north of Maqdadiya, located 35 km northeast of Baqubah. The operation resulted in killing 15 ISIS elements, including senior field leaders.”
“The operation was based on accurate information determined the location of the ISIS facility, and which helped to cause many casualties within the group and destroy some vehicles that contained explosives,” said al-Zaidi.
