Iraqi forces constantly progress in war on ISIS, says US Defense Secretary
(IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, US Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, confirmed that there is a steady progress made by the Iraqi security forces in the war against the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
In news followed by IraqiNews.com, the official Iraqi channel quoted Hagel as saying that, “There is constant progress by the Iraqi security force in the war on the terrorist organization ISIS.”
Noteworthy, Hagel arrived to Baghdad on Tuesday morning in an unannounced visit. He met with the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and President of Republic Fuad Masum. He also met with Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi to discuss military operations against the ISIS organization.
