Gunmen blow up gas tube in Yusufiya south of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a source within the Iraqi police stated that unidentified gunmen have detonated a gas tube south of Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “This evening, unidentified gunmen blew up a gas tube in Yusufiya area south of Baghdad with a number of explosive devices. It resulted in causing serious damages, but no casualties.”

The source, who asked not to be named, added, “Security force are searching for the gunmen who managed to escape after the bombing.”

Noteworthy, Baghdad is witnessing acts of violence almost continuously, including car bombs and improvised explosive devices, resulting in the death and injury of dozens of people and elements of the security services.
