December’s oil exports is the highest since the 80s, says Oil Ministry

(IraqiNews.com) On Friday, Oil Ministry confirmed that the daily export of Iraqi oil’s rate during December 2014 was the highest  since the eighties, and explained that the total income during 2014 amounted to 84 billion and 215.624 million dollars.

Oil Ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said in an interview for IraqiNews.com,”Initial statistics of December 2014’s oil exports reached 2.94 million barrels per day,” noting that, “That is the highest rate since the eighties, with a total volume of oil exports amounted to 91.141 million barrels, and revenues amounted to 5 billion and 247 million dollars.”

Jihad added, “The price of a barrel reached $57, while the total annual revenue of last year amounted to 84 billion and 215.624 million dollars.”

On December 1, 2014,the Oil Ministry announced that the rate of export of last November had raised to 2.51 million barrels per day, noting that the Kirkuk oil exports amounted to 836 000 barrels.
