Obaidi: Liberating Mosul means ISIL’s end in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Minister of Defense Khalid al-Obaidi assured that “Liberation of Mosul will be the end of the ISIL in Iraq.”

Statement by the Ministry of Defense received by IraqiNews.com quoted Obaidi as saying “Liberation of Mosul from the ISIL will be the end of terrorism,” noting that “Mosul is a victim and it does not deserve such cruel crime.”

He added “The government continues the process of arming the Iraqi security forces with the best quality of arms and weapons of the best sources in order to build a strong army which is able to defend the country.” /End/
