PM’s Office confirms Abadi’s meetings in Cairo limited to President, PM, Azhar Grand sheikh

(IraqiNews.com) The Office of Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi confirmed Sunday, that the meetings during Abadi’s visit to Egypt will be limited to Egypt’s President, his counterpart and al-Azhar Grand Sheikh.

Abadi’s Office spokesman Saad al-Hadithi stated, “His meetings will be limited to Egypt’s President Abdul-Fattah al-Sisi, his counterpart Ibrahim Mahlab, and Azhar Grand Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb,” denying that, “Abadi will meet with Quartet envoy Tony Blair and head of the World Jewish Cogress (WJC) Ronald Lauder in Cairo.”
