ISIS plunders jewelry of nine women in Maqdaniyah

(IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a local source in Diyali province said, that the ISIS group elements have plundered gold ornaments from nine female refugees fleeing their houses in some villages in northern Maqdaniyah.

The source told IraqiNews, “The ISIS group have ambushed refugees fleeing their houses in villages located in northern Maqdaniyah and cordoned off the farm road, threatening to kill who would try to escape,” pointing out that, “Elements of the group have plundered the gold ornaments of nine women after threatening to kill their husbands and children.”

“The group forced the refugees to return to their homes, while drove 9 men to an unknown location,” the source added.

Noteworthy, hundreds of families from the villages of northern Maqdaniyah in northeast of Baqubah are continuously trying to flee their homes in the ISIS-controlled territory of al-Maqdaniyah area.
