ISIS prepares full offensive on Haditha, says head of district
Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, the head of Haditha district, Abdul-Hakim al-Jughaifi said, that the ISIS group militants are preparing for a full attack on Haditha district.
Al-Jughaifi informed IraqiNews, “The ISIS group attempts to launch a full offensive on Haditha district, located 160 km west of Ramadi,” noting that, “The group has gathered its elements in two areas of the western side and in two other areas in southern Haditha.”
“Security forces backed by tribal fighters have put strict security procedures into action in order to repel any possible attempt by the group to attack Hadithat,” al-Jughaifi added.
