Hakim to British Ambassador: Iraqis capable to liberate their territories from ISIL

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, hosted the British Ambassador to Iraq, Frank Pick, at his office in Baghdad on last Thursday.

The SIIC reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The meeting tackled the developments of the political situation in the arena and supporting Iraq in combating the terrorists affiliated to what is so called the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant.”

”Hakim assured that Iraqis are capable to liberate their territories since the security forces supported by the volunteers are achieving great victories against the terrorists,” the statement concluded. \End\
