(IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi revealed that the Iranian aviation had violated Iraqi airspace three times, pointing out that he submitted a formal protest to Tehran about the matter.

Abadi said in an interview the British newspaper ‘London Life’ issued today, followed by IraqiNews.com, “There were three violations of Iranian aviation to the Iraqi airspace, one of them was last August, and two in November. The breaches were reconnaissance missions.”

Abadi added, “I demanded a scrutiny from the Iraqi Air Defense, and there was no bombing. The last violation of the Iranian aircrafts was on 11/23/2014, and we issued a formal protest to Iran in this regard. We did not ask for the Iranian Air Force to intervene to hit Iraqi sites.”
