PM, key delegation of Kirkuk province discuss forming joint security command

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, has met a key delegation of Kirkuk province to discuss the formation of a joint security command.

A statement by Abadi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Abadi received the key delegation of Kirkuk province that comprises Kirkuk Governor and some MPs where the Minister of Defense and some key security leaders attended the meeting.”

“The two sides discussed forming a joint security command in Kirkuk to coordinate with Baghdad to fight terrorism,” the statement concluded. /End/
