Hakim: Economic challenge must turned into chance to search for substitutes

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Divan held its first meeting on last Saturday night.
A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “The meeting was headed by the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim,” noting that “MPs and officials as well as businessmen attended the meeting to discuss the general situation in Iraq and the updates of the political process.”
“Hakim answered the queries of the attendants over the National Reconciliation where he stressed that all need to present concessions to sustain this project,” the statement added.

“Hakim assured that the economic challenge must turned into a chance to search for substitutes to avoid depending on oil revenues,” the statement concluded. /End/
