(IraqiNews.com) Egyptian president Abdel Fattah al-Sisi called on the UN’s Security Council for international military intervention in Libya.

Egyptian President asked the United Nations to grant a mandate to form an international coalition to intervene in Libya.

On Tuesday, al-Sisi said in an interview on ‘French radio Europe’ that there is no other option in light of the approval of the people of Libya and its government and have urged Egypt to move.

It is noteworthy that on Monday the Egyptian Armed Forces launched air strikes on targets belonging to the ISIS organization in Libya, in response to the beheading of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians.
