300 families displaced in al-Baghdadi, Anbar

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The Council of al-Baghdadi District announced on Monday, that 300 families have left their homes in a neighborhood, located in central al-Baghdadi, and moved to an area in west of the district after ISIS militants took over the area.

The member of the council, Abdul-Jabbar al-Obeidi, stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “Around 300 families have fled from the neighborhood of al-Quds in the district of al-Baghdadi, located 90 km west of Ramadi,” pointing out that, “the ISIS group militants have taken control over the area during clashes with the security forces.”
