Urgent – MoD visits liberated area northern Samarra

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Defense Minister Khalid Miteab al-Ubaidi arrived at Sur Shnas area located northern Samarra city in Salah-il-Din province.

Statement by the Ministry of Defense received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Minister of Defense accompanied several commanders of the Iraqi Army units and divisions have arrived in Sur Shnas area which has been liberated by the Iraqi Security Forces supported by volunteers and tribesmen within the current huge military operations launched to liberate Salah-il-Din province from the control of the terrorist ISIL.”
