(IraqiNews.com) The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced on Monday, that nine elements of the ISIS organization have been killed due to clashes that broke out among them while trying to escape from Syria to Turkey.

The Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman said, “Clashes broke out near the town of al-Bab, which lies 30 km south of the Turkish border among five ISIS members who were trying to flee and four others who were trying to stop them.”

Abdul Rahman added, “Among those fleeing a Tunisian and European fighters,” noting that, “It is not clear exactly who killed them.”

This is not the first time for ISIS to kill its affiliated members.

The Syrian Observatory said in December that the organization has killed more than 120 of its fighters in two months, mostly foreigners who were trying to return to their countries.
