Security forces kill key aide to al-Baghdadi in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a security source in Kirkuk province said, that a key ISIS leader was killed in clashes with the security forces in southwest of Kirkuk.

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “This afternoon, a force from the paramilitary Peshmerga forces have managed to kill the senior ISIS leader, known as Abu Hager, during clashes with the ISIS group militants near the village of Ismail in Mulla Abdullah area, located 30 km southwest of Kirkuk,” adding that, “The leader is considered to be from the key aides to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.”
