ISIS loses control over al-Karma, says Anbar Council
Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, Anbar Provincial Council announced, that the ISIS group militants have lost control over most of the areas in the district of al-Karma.
The president of the provincial council, Sabah Karhoot, stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “The Security forces, with support from by al-Hashed al-Sha’bi fighters and tribal volunteers, have managed to advance into the district of al-Karma, located in east of Ramadi,” pointing out that, “The security operation to liberate the district has been almost completed as there is only a small territory that is still under ISIS control.”
