Anbar Council demands to open investigation on soldiers shooting pilgrims bus

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, The head of Anbar provincial Council Sabah Krhot called DM Khaled al-Obeidi and Operations Command of the province to open an investigation into the shooting of soldiers on the pilgrims’ bus in Ramadi, stressing the need to hold the soldiers found to be involved in the incident accountable.
Krhot said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi and the Operations Command of al-Anbar should open an urgent investigation into the incident of a number of soldiers firing on a convoy of pilgrims at one of the checkpoints west of Ramadi.”
Krhot also stressed the need to hold the soldiers found to be involved in this incident accountable and bring them to justice.
