(IraqiNews.com) On Friday, US Embassy in Baghdad denied that the international coalition aircrafts had attacked Iraqi forces in the city of Ramadi.

The embassy said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The United States’ aircrafts did not participate in the attacks on the Iraqi security forces in Ramadi,” noting that, “No aircrafts were existent in the scene.”

The international coalition led by the United States announced on Thursday that it launched a single attack in Anbar province which did not result in any “friendly fire casualties,” referring to the incident of targeting the headquarters of the Iraqi army in the province.

On Thursday, the head of Irada bloc MP Hanan al-Fatlawi claimed that the indiscriminate shelling of the US-led coalition has left 50 soldiers dead and dozens of others wounded in Anbar, demanding the government and the House of Representatives to take a stand on the coalition’s bombing toward the Iraqi Army and the Volunteer Fighters.
