(IraqiNews.com) US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Sunday that his country will eventually be forced to negotiate with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on a political transition in Syria, pointing to the existence of talks between the United States and other countries aiming at re-launching the diplomatic process to end the conflict in the country.

Kerry added that the US has always been ready to negotiate within the framework of the Geneva II”, noting that, “the United States and other countries are looking for ways to re-launch the diplomatic process to end the conflict in Syria.”

Kerry confirmed on March 7th that there is a need to make a transitional process in Syria to push President Bashar al-Assad for the negotiations.
