Kurdistan Regional Government receives $420 million from CG, says Zibari

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Minister of Finance confirmed that the Kurdistan Regional Government received $ 420 million from the Federal Central Government as merits for the Kurdistan Region from the Oil revenues.

Zibari stressed in a press statement “These funds confirm that both sides Baghdad and Kurdistan Region are committed to oil agreement concluded by both sides.”

This payment for the Kurdistan Regional Government from the CG comes few days before an expected visit for a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government to Baghdad in order to discuss implementation of the oil agreement. /End/
