Head of Babel Council requests his removal from office

Babel (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, a source in Babel Provincial Council revealed, that the president of the council requested his removal from office, noting that the council will vote on his request within the next few days.

The leader of al-Mowatin political bloc in Babel Provincial Council, Ali Farhan, stated to IraqiNews.com in an interview, “The president of Babel Provincial Council Raad al-Jabouri requested his removal from office,” pointing out that, “The council will vote on his request and then elect a new president during the next session on the 30th of the current month.”
