Iranian tourist killed, 9 wounded by roadside bomb north of Baghdad
(IraqiNews.com) A source in the Iraqi police announced on Tuesday, that an Iranian tourist has been killed and nine others were wounded when a roadside bomb targeted a bus traveling north of Baghdad exploded.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “This morning, an explosive device placed in a public street in Taji area north of Baghdad―targeting a bus carrying Iranian tourists―exploded, which resulted in killing one and injuring nine others.”
The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “The security force cordoned off the scene, while ambulances took the dead body to the Forensic Medicine Authority and the injured to the nearest hospital for treatment.”
