Abadi orders to send large amounts of weapons to Anbar

(IraqiNews.com) The governor of Anbar Suhaib al-Rawi announced Saturday, that the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister Haider Abadi ordered to send large quantities of weapons and ammunition to Anbar as soon as possible.
Rawi said in an interview with IraqiNews.com, “Intensive contacts held with PM Haider al-Abadi for the purpose of assigning new security components and tribal fighters with weapons and ammunition.”
Rawi added, “Al-Abadi ordered to transfer large quantities of weapons and ammunition to Anbar as soon as possible for distribution to security forces and tribal fighters.”
