Iraqi militia kills ISIS commander of al-Bashir, a former General under Saddam Hussein
(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – The Sarayah al-Kharasani group of the al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia announced on Saturday, that the ISIS military commander of al-Bashir area has been killed in a military operation south of Kirkuk.
The group said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com “The special forces of the Sarayah al-Kharasani group have managed to kill the ISIS military commander in al-Bashir, known as Khaled Faisal, alongside his son, Hamza, in a military operation carried out with intelligence support” noting that, “Khaled was a former General in the National Intelligence Service under the regime of Saddam Hussein.”
