(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced on Tuesday, that the government would respect any decision by the Parliament to replace it, saying that the Council of Ministers votes on its decisions by consensus and there is no marginalization of any component of the Iraqi people.

Abadi said in a speech while attending the Parliament session today, “Today Iraq is fighting a serious war against terrorism, and we should not disagree on the fight against ISIS or supporting the security forces,” noting that, “Any resolution by the Parliament to change the government will be respected.”

Abadi added, “The decision to leave the government is much easier than entering it,” stating that, “Cabinet resolutions are voted by consensus and there is no marginalization of any component of the Iraqi people.”
