Maj. Gen. Ziad al-Dulaimi assigned to manage al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia in Anbar

(IraqiNews.com) Al-Anbar – On Wednesday, Major General Ziad Tariq al-Dulaimi, who was the former Commander of the First Division, was assigned to the management of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia in Anbar province, noting to the allocation of Habbaniyah Camp as the headquarters for al-Hashed al-Sha’bi.

Dulaimi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “I have been officially assigned by the body of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi to manage al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia in Anbar province.”

Al-Dulaimi added, “Habbaniyah Camp (30 km east of Ramadi) has been allocated as the headquarters of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi body for the purpose of receiving volunteers and training them.”

Al-Anbar tribes called al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia to the province to participate in its liberation, while demanded Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to support the local police, emergency regiments and tribal fighters.
