Security forces liberate Tal Garad area north of Tikrit, says Joint Operations

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Sunday, Joint Operations Command announced, that the security forces liberated the area of Tal Garad in north of Tikrit.
Joint Operations Command spokesman, General-Officer Saad Mo’en, stated in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The security forces have managed to liberate the entire area of Tal Abu Garad, located alongside Baiji Refinery Road, after inflicted heavy losses upon the enemy, by killing a large number of ISIS militants,” pointing out that, “The security forces have also gained control over the area of Dor al-Sekak located near the area of Tal Garad.”
