Many countries promised to support us, we received only little, says Abadi

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Tuesday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi called the international community to practically support Iraq in its war against ISIS, pointing out that a large number of countries have promised to support Iraq, however, we have just received little.

Abadi said in his speech during the International Alliance Conference to fight ISIS held in the French capital Paris, “a large number of countries promised to support us, but we have received support only from a few of them,” stressing that, “the world should wake up at the risk of ISIS gangs and to be together in the fight against them.”

Abadi called the international community to “move to support Iraq in its war against ISIS gangs,” and urged partners to “increase support, because the terrorists are flocking to Iraq from all countries.”
