Hakim Zamili announces the arrest ISIS senior leaders in Samarra

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The President of the parliamentary committee on Security and Defense Hakim Zamili announced on Saturday the arrest of senior leaders belonging to ISIS and seizing 150 mobile phone cards that were used in booby-trapping operations in Samarra.
Zamili said in an interview for IraqiNews.com during inspecting military units in Samarra, “The security forces and the Saraya al- Salam militia managed, after the liberation of Samarra Island, to arrest dangerous elements and senior leaders in ISIS terrorist organization,” noting that, “those elements were responsible for booby-trapping and assassinations.”
“A number of improvised explosive devices , mobile devices and 150 mobile phone cards have been seized; they were used in booby-trapping operations,” Zamili added.
