 6 ISIS elements arrested, tried to infiltrate into al-Fatha area through Kirkuk

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – A security source in Salahuddin province announced on Wednesday, that the security forces arrested six ISIS members, including two suicide bombers tried to sneak into al-Fatha area north of the province through Kirkuk.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “six elements belonging to ISIS tried today to sneak from Hawija district towards al-Fatha area north of Salah al-Din,” noting that, “They managed to cross the borders of the security forces.”

The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “Those forces wrap around the elements and arrested them, including two suicide bombers wearing suicide vests.”
