(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Security sources revealed on Sunday that a British rap singer, who posted on Twitter-account his image with slaughtered head in Syria last year, fled from the ranks of ISIS to Turkey.

The newspaper “Telegraph” stated that the 25-years-old British Abdul Majid Abdul Bari disguised as a refugee and managed to escape during the chaos and the retreat of ISIS in Tel Abyad city near the Turkish-Syrian border last month.

The sources added that Abdul Majid is currently targeted from both the British security forces and ISIS elements, who recently killed dozens of foreign fighters because of fleeing from their ranks.

Abdul Majid Abdul Bari is one of around 50 British fighters, who were fighting with ISIS then left it; they face murder from ISIS for treason in the event of their return to Syria, and imprisonment if they tried to return to their homes in the United Kingdom.
