(Iraqinews.com) Baghdad – Defense Ministry announced on Monday the arrival of four F-16 fighter jets in Balad Air Base in Salahuddin province.

The ministry said in a brief statement received by IraqiNews.com: “the number of the F-16 fighter aircrafts, which arrived to Iraq amounted to four aircraft.”

The ministry added that “the fighters jets landed in a base allocated to them in Balad district in Salahuddin province “.

A source in the Office of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Haider al-Abadi revealed on Monday the arrival of the F-16 fighter jets in the country.
