9 civilians killed, wounded in car bombing near popular cafe south of Baghdad
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Interior Ministry announced on Sunday, that nine people had been killed and wounded in the explosion of an explosive device near a popular cafe, south of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “an explosive device exploded, this evening, near a popular cafe in Diyala Old Bridge area south of Baghdad, which resulted in the killing of two people and wounding seven others.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added: “security force transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the bodies of the dead to the forensic medicine department.”
