ISIS arrests 20 of its elements southwest of Kirkuk

(Iraqinews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk announced on Monday, that ISIS arrested about 20 of its elements for fleeing from the battle in Baiji in Salahuddin province, while explained that the arrest took place in Hawija southwest of Kirkuk.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “ISIS arrested 20 members of its gunmen in Hawija (55 km southwest of Kirkuk),” noting that, “this happened on the back of the escape of ISIS members from the fighting in Baiji district in Salah Al-Dien province.”
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “ISIS has transferred these elements to a prison in preparation for punishment.”
