Pentagon confirms the fall of US drone in Samawa

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Wednesday the US Department of Defense “Pentagon” announced the fall of a US drone in the city of Samawa in southern Iraq.
The Pentagon said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com: “The US drone aircraft, which was in an intelligence mission in Iraq and Syria, landed in the province of Samawa in July 16, 2015 due to a technical problem,” asserting the absence of any weapons on board.
