Gunmen in military uniforms storm house, steal $ 130 000 east of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police announced on Thursday, that an armed group wearing military uniforms broke into a house and stole 130 thousand dollars and gold jewelry in eastern Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for iraqiNews.com: ” today, armed men wearing military uniforms broke into a house in Palestine Street area in the east of Baghdad and stole at gunpoint an amount of $ 130 000 as well as gold jewelry.”
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “The security force cordoned off the scene and opened an investigation to ascertain the party that stands behind it.”
