(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – The Iraqi Defense Ministry denied on Sunday the fall of a “Mi-35” military helicopter belonging to the Army Aviation or the injury of its crew in Samarra District, urging the media to exercise precision in the transfer of the security situation news.

The ministry spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya al-Zubaidi, stated in an interview with IraqiNews.com, “The Joint Operations Command and Ministry of Defense deny the fall of any helicopter of the type (Mi-35) in the area of Samarra or Salahuddin,” asserting that, “The army troops, Army Aviation and Air Force did not record any sort of incident like this.”

He urged the media to “exercise caution and precision in the transfer of such incorrect news.”
