 Iraq gets loan of 1.2 billion dollars for reconstruction of liberated areas

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The international coalition’s presidential envoy Brett Macgork announced Wednesday, that Iraq will receive $1.2 billion loan from the International Monetary Fund for the reconstruction of the liberated areas, indicating that $10 million of it will be allocated for the reconstruction of Anbar.

Macgork said at a press conference held at the US embassy building in Baghdad: “The international coalition has many ways to help Iraq, including education issues, economy and war against ISIS.”

He added that,”Iraq will receive a loan of 1.2 billion dollars for the reconstruction of the liberated areas,” adding that, “10 million US dollars will be for the reconstruction of Anbar province.”
