Turkey says it will continue to transfer its troops from Nineveh

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs acknowledged, that there was a misunderstanding with Iraq regarding the recent deployment of Turkish troops in Bashiqa military base in northern Iraq.
The Ministry said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Turkey will continue to evacuate some of its troops from its military base in Nineveh province.”
Noteworthy, Ankara has deployed hundreds of soldiers in Bashiqa in December, for the purpose of training Iraqi forces to fight ISIS.
