(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A local source in Sinjar District said, that more than 150 Yazidi families have returned to their areas in Sinjar, while called the concerned authorities to provide the basic services for them to be able to continue their lives

Dakheel Hassan, one of the Yazidi leaders, said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “More than 150 families from the residents of Khansour areas in the district of Sinjar began to return to their areas,” noting that, “The areas were secured after Peshmerga forces had liberated them.”

Hasan added, “The decision to return to [their areas] was coordinated with the government authorities,” calling the concerned authorities, “To provide the basic services that will encourage the displaced to return to their homes.”
