Masum arrives in Cairo on official visit to meet Egyptian President

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Iraqi President Fouad Masum arrived on Monday in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on an official visit that will last for three days. Masum was received by his Egyptian counterpart the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi at the presidential palace.
The Presidential information office said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Today the Iraqi President Fouad Masum arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, along with a delegation including the Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, Agriculture Minister Falah Hassan Zaidan, National Security Adviser Faleh al-Fayad, in addition to a number of Iraqi officials.”
The statement added, “The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tariq Ahmed received the delegation at Cairo International Airport,” noting that, “The visit will last for three days.”
The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received the Iraqi delegation at the presidential palace in Cairo.
