 5,000 displaced families due to airstrikes on ISIS in Heet and Kabisa in Anbar Province

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – On Wednesday the governor of Heet District announced, that 5,000 families have fled from the district and the vicinity of Kabisa due to the air strikes launched by the international coalition aviation against ISIS sites in the district, appealing to the government and the Ministry of Immigration to help those families.

Mohand Zbar, the governor of Heet District, said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “About 5,000 families from the city of Heet have been displaced due to the aerial bombing by the international coalition aviation on ISIS positions in the district and the security preparations for the liberation of the district,” adding that, “Some families headed to the vicinity of al-Wafa, while others went to the vicinity of al-Baghdadi,” appealing to the government and the Ministry of Immigration to “send relief goods and urgent humanitarian assistance to those families to relieve them of their suffering.”
