ISIS is committing genocide against Christians and other religious groups, says Kerry

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Thursday, Secretary of State John Kerry said, that the United States is ready to liberate the areas controlled by ISIS, while pointed out that ISIS acts against Christians, Yazidis and other minority groups in Iraq and Syria are considered as genocide.
Kerry said during a press conference held in Washington and followed by IraqiNews.com, “My purpose here today is to assert in my judgment, ISIS is responsible for genocide against groups in areas under its control including Yazidis, Christians and Shiite Muslims,” indicating that, “ISIS is also responsible for ethnic cleansing, directed at these same groups and in some cases also against Sunni Muslims, Kurds and other minorities.”
Kerry added, “The United States will strongly support efforts to collect, document, preserve and analyze the evidence of atrocities,” pointing out that, “We will do all we can to see that the perpetrators are held accountable.”
