(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Turkish Interior Minister Efkan Ala announced on Sunday, that the suicide bomber who attacked Istanbul on Saturday was a Turkish citizen with links to ISIS.

The Interior Minister said during a press conference followed by IraqiNews.com, “The suicide bomber who carried out the attack on central Istanbul was identified as Mehmet Ozturk, who was born in 1992 and registered in Gaziantep, a city in southern Turkey, near the Syrian border,” adding that, “The evidence at hand shows that he is connected to the ISIS terrorist organization.”

Yesterday, a suicide bombing killed four people in central Istanbul, including two American-Israeli dual citizens, according to an Israeli government source and a U.S. source.
